Do you have a question about Playit-Online or a problem with a game? Here you’ll find answers and tips to help you get back to playing.
Yes, you can play the games on Playit-Online for free. Signing up and using our community are also free.
No, you can start playing without signing in. If you’d like to use our community, you can create a free account.
Many of our games also work on phones and tablets. However, some games require a keyboard or mouse and are better played on a computer.
The games on our website are designed to be played in your browser. We don’t offer them for download.
Many games automatically save your progress in the browser on your device. They use cookies or other site data, such as local browser storage, to do this.
To continue playing later, open the game on the same device, in the same browser and with the same browser profile.
Not every game supports saving progress. Some games only save after you complete a level or reach a checkpoint.
Important: Your Playit-Online account does not automatically back up or sync these locally saved games.
If a game starts from the beginning, it may no longer be able to access your saved data. Common reasons include:
First, try opening the game again on the device and in the browser profile you previously used.
Whenever possible, use the same device and browser profile. Play in a regular browser window and make sure your browser allows the game to save and keep its site data.
Don’t delete cookies and other site data if you want to keep your game progress. Also check whether your browser or a cleanup tool removes this data automatically.
If the game offers its own option to back up or export your saved game, you can use that as an additional precaution.
Locally saved game progress is usually not transferred automatically to other devices or browsers. Signing in with the same Playit-Online account does not transfer it either.
Games that offer their own account system or online saving may be an exception. Whether this is possible depends on the individual game.
We don’t have access to saved games stored only in your browser. If that data has been deleted, we unfortunately can’t restore it.
If you’ve simply switched browsers or devices, your previous progress may still be available there. First, try opening the game on the original device and in the browser profile you previously used.
You can change your preferences for cookies and similar technologies by selecting “Cookie Settings” at the bottom of our website.
You can also control which site data is saved or deleted in your browser settings.
Please note: Changing your cookie preferences on our website and deleting site data in your browser are different actions. Deleting site data can also remove your saved game progress.
Try these steps first:
Don’t rush to delete cookies and other site data when troubleshooting, as this could remove your saved game progress.
