Would you rather have a small Gallic village? Or would you rather lead a large troop of Romans? Or does your heart beat for the strong Teutons? In Travian, you have the choice of which people you want to lead to victory. Start in a small village and expand it bit by bit. The Romans have the best, but also the most expensive soldiers and the Teutons are feared everywhere, because when they go into battle, no one should get in their way.

To train strong troops, you naturally need a well-functioning village. You should be clear about your goals right from the start so that you have the right buildings and resources ready. Grain feeds the inhabitants, iron is important for weapons and wood is used to construct new buildings.

Send out adventurers to explore the surrounding terrain. What you find will help you expand your village. You can form alliances with your neighbors or claim their villages as your own. You can claim oases for yourself.

The more skillfully you plan and the stronger you forge your alliances or fight tough battles, the higher you will rise in the world of Travian.
